Ever have self doubts? Most of us do….Pretty normal stuff. Do you ever you wonder if you have what it takes to really be successful? Do you wonder if you can really do it - you know…. make money, generate wealth, and achieve the highest levels of the type of success that is measured by money and material things? (Absolutely NOT the best measure of success, ( in my opinion), but…… it IS what we are discussing here!)
So read the following very carefully, because I have something very important to share with you.
You DO have what it takes. (If you’ll take action).
How can I say this? First hand experience -because we did it! (My wife Christina and I). READ THIS CAREFULLY!…..”While we are NOT Internet Marketing Millionaires….. We ARE Millionaires (On paper, anyway!) BECAUSE of Internet Marketing!”
What do I mean by that….?
Google my name “Michael Rytter”, to see an article in a major Canadian newspaper where I’m “whining” about the recent tax assessment on one of our properties. Our income from Internet Marketing…. solely our home based internet marketing business, nothing else…. put us in the financial position to be able to buy these properties! (And the one I’m whining about in the article is paid for!)
Our home based internet business also pays the $14000 per year property taxes I’m complaining about in the newspaper interview! And the $3000 per year taxes on yet another property we own and live on and work from! And the cars we drive. And the food we eat. And the clothes we wear. Plus the mortgage on our home…..and on and on. And…. our home based internet business has acheived all this in just 6 short years!
Another really nice perk related to this business is that it’s a real short commute down the hall to the office every morning! (Or out across the yard to our shops…) Anyway, I’m sure you get my drift….. (yeah…I’m bragging….LOL…I also pinch myself at least once a day to see if this is real….but bragging aside…you should know that if we can acheive this, you can too.)
You CAN make tons of money with blogging (and even static websites), if you know the right way to do it.
It’s not hard, and it’s sure not out of your reach. People just like you and I are using blogging every day to make huge amounts of money, and many of them generate amazing profits.
For example, one of our main businesses is selling wood on the Internet….. imagine…. WOOD!…. and we do this with a Wordpress blog! Check it out! http://www.veddermountainhardwoods.com (I’ll talk more about this and some of our other sites in later posts).
The reason we now choose to use a Wordpress Blog as our platform rather than a static web site is because blogs are so much easier and simpler to build, updating and adding content is pushbutton simple…and most importantly, blogs are traffic magnets -search engines LOVE them! We can get our “wood site” to rank on the first page of google for any search term we choose to write a “post” on within HOURS, rather than the weeks or months it used to take with our old “static”website. (”post” is a blog term for “article”).
For example, go to our wood supplies site and look at yesterday’s post by my wife on “western red cedar guitar tops“. Scroll down thru the post and check the date at the bottom of her post. (Jan 9/09). Now go to Google and search on cedar guitar tops,or western red cedar guitar tops, or red cedar guitar tops. See what I mean? It is Jan 10 today, and we are already on the first page of Google for that post! We were actually on the first page yesterday about an hour after that post, but I can’t prove that! I will doing a video for the members area to demonstrate this soon. (Depending on when you are reading this, you may have to scroll down a bit on the site, or search the menu for the red cedar guitar tops post if she has since made new posts.)
Check out the screen capture below. We are #1 and #2 out of 4,170,000 (yes, that’s right…4 million one hundred seventy thousand!) competing results for the keyword phrase: Wood Turning Supplies, on the MSN search engine. (We own both woodturnersupply.com and veddermountainhardwoods.com )
#UPDATE as of Feb 2/09: Veddermountainhardwoods.com has been bumped to #2, and woodturnersupply.com is now #9…still on first page though!
#Update as of May 12/09: woodturnersupply.com is now #4, veddermountainhardwoods.com has slipped to #7, and our woodturnersupply.wordpress.com is at #6 …aw, c’mon….admit it…we still OWN the first page!!
Here’s another screen capture for a term we rank pretty high on Google for….guitar tops…at #4 on the first page of Google, with 30,000,000 competing pages (yes…thirty million!), and what is called a “double indented” listing, which takes some serious skilz to get (really jumps out at people…a double indent almost anywhere on a page will pull more eyeballs than a number 1 listing on the same page)….plus…the “more results” line under the second listing…a click on that puppy brings up a page with all the results for that particular website! Sigh…yes, I`m bragging….but we are darn good at what we do!
So ask yourself this simple question - isn’t it time for you to learn “How To Make Money With Your Blog” too? From somebody who understands the “HOW To…” part?
The first step is to Educate Yourself! Find out everything you can about blogging and how to use it to make money. All you need is to get your hands on the right information to make this kind of success a reality for you! And while you can get some of that information here, this should only be a starting point! There is an incredible abundance of great information and ideas on the net…make sure you check out the blogs mentioned in the left sidebar…..remember…they are just a minute sample of the thousands and thousands of successful money generating blogs out there!
The second step is to Take Action! Without this step, step one is a futile exercise, and joining Blogschool 101 will be an absolute waste of your time. I mean it. Learning and gathering information is a great thing , but only if YOU ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING WITH IT!

No hosting or domain costs…no costs of any sort. We’ll even help you, as long as we’re able! (There will come a time when we will have to stop with the free support due to the sheer volume of requests….but that shouldn’t be the case for a while yet, as we are a brand new site!)
